Financial accessibility

Cost of sessions

We firmly believe that everyone should have access to nature and outdoor learning, not just those who can afford it. As part of a registered charity (The Aigas Trust, SC005053), Naturedays at Aigas does not charge participants a fixed price for attending any of our activities. Instead, we ask for a donation to The Aigas Trust to contribute towards the cost of our work.

When a group or individual books an activity with us, we will tell them a suggested donation amount. Participants are welcome to donate more or less than this, but do not have to donate anything.

We also know that the cost of travel, especially hiring buses for large groups, can be prohibitively expensive. We have a small electric van that we take out around Scotland as part of our Outreach programme, and we would love to come and visit you! We also suggest a much lower donation for Outreach sessions, as this makes it more accessible to more people.

Outdoor Equipment

If you or your group would benefit from borrowing some waterproofs, wellies or warm layers for the day, that's no problem! We have lots of spares in a variety of sizes that can be handed out.

We also have a supply of sun cream, insect repellent and spare snacks, just in case we need those.
