We are proud to state that children have been coming through our doors for more than thirty years now and we are continually creating new and exciting programmes for everyone to take part in. We work with nursery, primary and secondary schools and provide an outreach service.

Schools and Nurseries

2 hours

Our nursery programmes are based around sensory and experiential learning and allow children to interact with the outdoors through games and crafts. Our private estate creates a safe and varied environment to discover nature.

10am - 2pm

Our primary programmes are designed to complement your work in school and offer valuable extra-curricular experiences. Flexible activities mean that each session can suit any age and ability; suitable as an introduction to a new subject or practical opportunity to develop understanding.

10am - 2pm

Our secondary programmes are normally based around field studies.

For biologists we offer moorland, woodland, grassland, marine and freshwater studies.

For geographers we study fluvial systems, glaciation, soils, tourism, flooding, mapping, GIS and a whole lot more.

We can also come out to visit you! We love to get involved with projects at school, such as wildlife gardening, working towards obtaining Green Flag status, John Muir Awards and CPD training with teaching staff.
