Everybody loves creepy crawlies! Join us as we explore the different habitats at Aigas hunting for minibeasts. Learn fun facts through playing games and doing activities.

 

Wildlife After Dark

Badgers, bats and moths are just some of our wonderful wildlife that comes to life at night! Other animals, like moles, spend most of their lives living in darkness. Find out more about their secretive world.

  

Trees & Forests

Friday 22nd July 10am-2pm

Age 5+

Come and learn about the trees and forests of Scotland; why are they important? What creatures live in our forests? Why do we need trees? We will have a go at shelter building and even create some transient art.   

 

Survival of the Fittest

Ever wondered how some animals are able to survive in extreme conditions? How is climate change affecting our wildlife? What can we do to help reduce our carbon footprint? Come along to this fun and exciting natureday to find out! 

Clever Camouflage

Tuesday 2nd August 10am-2pm

All Ages 

Come and discover how different animals use colour. Learn the art of camouflage and how various animals use it. Explore the Aigas grounds, play games, do activities and be creative! 

 

Wildlife Gardening

Thursday 11th August 10am-2pm

All ages

Aigas is full of wildlife! Come explore the gardens with us, learn how a plant grows and how to attract different creatures to your gardens at home.
