Primary Residential Experiences
Come and experience Scotland with Aigas Field Centre!
Set in the wild and rugged landscape of the Highlands, we are perfectly situated for wildlife watching, walking, and exploring the diverse habitats at our back door. We have Mountains, Birch and Oak Woodland, Caledonian Pine Forest, Conifer Plantation, Moorlands, Rocky Coasts, Mudflats, Rivers and Lochs, Estuaries, Farmland and Peat Bogs all within close proximity. Whether it's for a specific project or an all-encompassing educational experience you couldn't ask for a more perfect setting.
We have been running residential groups for over 25 years and have successfully managed to blend quality environmental education, comfort and fun to ensure everyone has a lasting and memorable Highland experience.

Challenge the children in your class to break away from modern entertainment and to discover the joys of the natural world for themselves. They can be amazed as golden eagles soar overhead, watch bottle-nosed dolphins from Chanonry Point and see osprey dive for fish. Observe herds of wild deer, walk in our ancient Caledonian pine forest and find garnets in our local rock. They can catch invertebrates on our rocky shores, run the gauntlet that is the Atlantic Salmon’s life cycle and listen to stories in our tree top hide. They can go back in time and explore life in the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages, visit the Battlefield of Culloden, experience life in a Victorian hunting lodge and learn about themselves in the process.
