Highland Archaeology Festival 'Bronze Age Aigas!' Friday 14th October 10am - 2pm all ages welcome As part of the Highland Archaeology Festival Aigas is opening its doors to the past. We know there have been humans living in the Aigas area for around 4,000 years! Join us as we explore what life would have been like back then; could you live in a hut circle, hunt your own food and fight to defend your land? Why not come along and find out?
Nature Day 'Dive into Autumn' Thursday 20th October 10am - 2pm all ages welcome Autumn is a fascinating season. Not only does everything look different and very beautiful with all the wonderful colours but there is also a lot going on! Much of our local wildlife is very busy this time of year as migration, storing stocks for winter or hibernation approaches. At Aigas we will discover how many creatures manage to survive the tough winter ahead, explore the fabulous world of fungi and play lots of exciting games!
These days cost £5 per child and £2.50 per adult. Booking must be made in advance by calling 01463 783 670 or emailing sarah@aigas.co.uk Please note that all children attending Aigas on Nature Days or as part of HAF must be accompanied by an adult at all times. |
