Avenue

The Avenue is a green gateway to the (old) Aigas farm. We are ever thankful to our predecessor Victorians for planting ambitious big exotic tress and we are lucky enough to be around to see the fruits of all their hard work. The limes, horse chestnuts and maples shed lots of lovely deep leaf litter and line the path making a haven for minibeasts. It is very close to the house and so children big and small can set out with a margarine tub and hunt for worms, millipedes, beetles and lots of slugs!
