Aigas Field CentreAigas Field Centre is situated in a spectacular glen in the Highlands of Scotland.
The House of Aigas itself was originally the house of a “tacksman”, which has now been modified and extended over the years, in particular with the Victorian’s addition of towers, and the most recent renovations for the modern “West-Wing” where Sir John Lister-Kaye and his family live today.
Aigas has a history of over twenty-five years of excellence in environmental education. Every year thousands of school children who visit Aigas experience something new and exciting in the great outdoors. Our enthusiastic team are always ready to fascinate and captivate absorbent minds. We offer a prime opportunity to watch and learn about rare and outstanding wildlife, to study ancient rocks and landscapes whilst walking in the magnificent glens and to explore the Highlands’ turbulent history. Aigas is the first Eco-Centre in the Highlands, and we work continually to be energy and waste efficient and use fair trade products wherever possible. |
